A CN exec recently stated that TV ratings really dont matter as much to CN as they had before, and they’re really pushing the CN app/on-demand services which have tons of episodes for every current CN show and some old ones (Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Teen Titans, Captain Planet, and then some).

According to Wikipedia, the season finale got 2.60m viewers, which isn’t even the highest rated Season 3 episode (Rickmancing the Stone, 2.86m). Guessing this excludes live-streaming (which Adult Swim was doing for free) and DVR, though.

Is it just me or is the audio so barely audible

They advertised it on their social media accounts. Probably easier to reach Adventure Time’s tween - young adult fanbase through that than it is to reach them through TV promos.

CN really only advertises their more teen-oriented shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe on social media now. SU gets promos for new episodes on TV when major events happen (so usually every episode, but not always).
