LOL my kids are super close in age ...we would all get together on friday nights and put all the kids in the living room to play and we would hang out in the kitchen and have a couple drinks and just let it out. It was a huge savior of my sanity!

I’m so sorry my love, and I relate. Last year my Mom ended up on life support with pneumonia for two and a half weeks. When she finally came around and had to have ‘the questions’ she also responded to the president question with UGH and when told she had to say it she said “I suppose it’s still fucking Trump unless

I don’t know if a single Michael Avenatti could be a considered “a bunch of people.”

My cheesy high school angsting was published in our school’s literary magazine.

Also, the skinniest figure skater? That seems... unlikely, given the EXTREMELY PUBLIC EATING DISORDER PROBLEM the sport has.

She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards. By Eric Erickson.

I was wary of John Mulaney hosting SNL again so quickly, and with the writing struggles being so blatantly on display this season, but I am very happy that I was wrong. This episode was my best reminder in many years of what I love about SNL and why I keep some form of investment in the show even after all this time

If Medicare for All really includes all the features you mention, why is it called Medicare for All?

I too would not want that festering mung’s lips on my face either, but I also wouldn’t work to elect him or support him in any way.

“I can still see his lips coming straight for my face.”

I get worried when legitimate complaints of Bernie get handwaved away as: “Well you don’t have to like him to support him”. It reeks of the same double-standard Trump supporters use. With the field that exists today, we don’t need to hitch up to this wagon again.

My problem with Sanders is he is too much of a grandstanding bullshiter. He deals with not getting his way by shouting and pouting. Putting down those who don’t necessarily agree with his “burn it all to the ground” mentality.

Not only that, but he promised to join the party after the 2016 election and then reneged on that promise.

He’s a snake oil salesman.  Grifters gonna grift.

Because it’s a cult of personality around one person, it’s not a movement. If this was a sustainable revolution, he’d pass the baton to someone younger and more dynamic who is already espousing his platform points. This isn’t about a movement, this is about this one man.

He shouldn’t be the Democratic Party candidate for president.

Yeah, Sanders has a great record on healthcare and Wall Street regulation, and if those are your primary voting concerns, he is a great candidate for you. But he also has a mixed record on plenty of other things—gun control and immigration and criminal justice, to start—and there are other candidates who have been

Bernie has fought for progressive causes all his life.  Terrific.  Let him continue to do so from the Senate.  Or as an elder statesman in the private sector.  He shouldn’t be the Democratic Party candidate for president.

I really, really think he would have done better to strongly endorse someone rather than throwing his hat in the ring again. I don’t know if he could beat Donny, and alternately I’m also worried that if he *doesn’t* get the nomination we’ll have anger and disenchantment on the left similar to what we had in 2016.

Surprise surprise, when you give a racist white kid an unearned sense of immunity and a team of highly-paid lawyers and PR professionals, he seeks to take full advantage of the grift.

So can the Parkland kids sue Fox news for the same thing?
