"Being a criminal gets you disbarred, doesn't it?"
"Being a criminal gets you disbarred, doesn't it?"
That's right! That never even occurred to me until you brought it up. Good catch!
I didn't catch what was being said because I was confused as to why the machine was suddenly playing the message (and then saw the play button had been pressed down when Ernesto flipped it over) and then was listening to Chuck more than the tape so I only caught some words and thought it was earlier in the…
It might not be breaking and entering but something else yet I still think the end goal for Chuck is to lead Jimmy down a path where he will commit a crime that he can catch and expose him for which will lead to Jimmy needing to change his image to Saul Goodman. That's my theory right now but never know with this show.
The way he loaded those batteries tells you why he is still just a go-fer instead of a lawyer like Jimmy and Kim are. Get it together, man!
Yes! Exactly! I'm surprised people aren't seeing that. We're led to believe that Chuck doesn't want Ernesto to hear the tape because of his reaction and as an audience we are hoping he does hear it so he can warn Jimmy to help save him. Yet, what Ernesto hears is of no actual benefit. It happens fast. Chuck is quickly…
Didn't Hugh Jackman get a lot of praise for his hosting of the Oscars and basically announcing he didn't bother to watch The Reader in his opening song and dance while asking why The Dark Knight didn't get nominated?
I liked they clip they showed of him accepting his award in which he also brought up "so many broken bones" on his way to getting that honor. It reminds me that I need to look up more of his Chinese work of him in his prime.
You got me thinking hard about Rush Hour 3. Only saw it once on DVD years ago. Here's what I can remember. It's in France in Paris. I'm pretty sure the Eiffel Tower showed up in a shot at some point. I think Christopher Plummer is in it and maybe even a cameo from Roman Polanski. And there was a scene where Chris…
It's alright. I didn't like it either. I don't understand the love for it myself. I found it very tedious and thought about walking out of it a couple times but just endured to the end.
That's exactly what I've been saying.
Absolutely. I saw it in 3D in the theatres which is the way that film needs to be seen just like The Walk or Gravity should be in 3D Imax. Have no idea how it translates in viewing as just 2D on a normal screen but I'm not sure how you may have watched it. Regardless, the 3D effect weaved a great spell on me and that…
Not really that big a fan of the movies nominated this year. I thought 2016 was kind of weak for movies. Even the ones I liked had some kind of flaw or element I thought was lacking. Nothing really wowed me like years past with Life of Pi, Whiplash,. Nightcrawler (which nominated for something) or even Gravity.
If I…
"On a side note, I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to copy your post and paste it in other places, to help the fans of the show lol."
Alright, here are my long made up answers.
Oh, agree about how a lot makes zero sense but from the review, I had the impression the reviewer (and other commenters) didn't understand why Euros was hung up on Sherlock and the past. Admittedly, the episode doesn't do a good job of explaining that but I think the writers also think they are being cute by obscuring…
My understanding of the Euros mystery is that as a child she trapped Sherlock's friend in that well and came up with the puzzle for Sherlock to solve as a way to make him play with her. Childish jealousy. However, Sherlock couldn't solve the mystery and his friend died traumatizing him as well as Euros in a way. Being…
Two notable omissions for me.
