I think Sonic generations made good if not best use of the, modern, running design and traditional platforming while the gated progression held the game back a bit It’s still one of my favorite Sonic games to date and I am looking forward to it’s ‘sequel’ and Sonic mania.

Sonic’s prime was clearly in the 90's and the step to 3D didn’t always worked out well but Sonic has had a stellar run over the past decades. Sonic is kinda like Tomb Raider, not every game is great but it’s all remembered fondly enough to warrent sequels and reboots. No game series consists soley of succes in a 30

“White women distributing plates of yellow cake.”
Love this line, so racist...
Is their skin color(and gender) worth mentioning in this context or article? no, yet you still went there.

Whitewashed... what kind of racist term is that, Hispanic culture is great, presevere it! (sure Spaniards killed most people in South America that the Portugese didn’t but go Hispanic culture!) Asian culture is awesome except for all their horrible ways, lacking hygene in their kitchens and...
But damnit children

I would like to see a list black people say to white people now, you know just because of equality.

This reminds me of a vid I saw where Lemmy(rest his soul.. nah he will never rest and keeps on rockin’ while dead) answered a question of a black kid listening to metal and the kid asked what he should tell to the fellow black kids that called him a “disgrace to his race” for listening to metal. (Lemmy told the kid to

What a purrfect lil pun you made there.

I will defend it in the sense that while wrong, it was there and certainly influenced a lot of things and while we now know better should we stop enjoying things made in those times by those people, and while we do not agree with ‘populair opinions’ of that time we can still acknowledge that it was that way.
Like I

I am not defending his depictions merely trying to explain that they shouldn’t act so surprised that they are what they are, just like Walt Disney wasn’t any more or less racist than anyone else in it’s time.
Not saying it should be justified but it seem that people are so surprised that times were different back

Why is it racism, did he had to include black people just so he wouldn’t be racist? that’s positive discrimination.

Well I am not stating there was no travel or international trade nor that there was not a single person of color but like I said they were far more uncommon then in todays picture so not having them as main characters is not really an evil intent or racist agenda or whatever but merely a conjucture of source material

Granted, Lord of the Rings is written in a time period where most common (not the people in big cities just country people)folk have never seen a black man or woman in person and inspired by old norse folk tales and sagas from a time when people in Europe barely even knew black people existed at all, it’s not strange

I guess i am just a purist of sorts when it comes to games, I also don’t like modding the hell out of a game unless I am truely done and bored with it them which usually results in me not playing them anyway.

let’s put it this way, take a Rubix cube, if you know how they work you can complete them the proper way as fast as possible aka, speedrunning.
You can take apart a Rubix cube and then put it back together with the colors matching as fast as possible and that is what it feels like when people use glitches and exploits.

Speedrunning trough skill and memorization/planning is far more impressive than bugging the hell out of a game in my opinion.

Hachi machi, bring back Duckman, you a lover of mid 90's adult cartoons?

Lobo was so cool in the animated series, I also think he made some appearances in the tie-in justice league series.
He is a mix between Deadpool and Wolverine sorta, he needs his own movie .

So this is what the sultan in Disney’s Aladdin was playing.

While the shaders are certainly better the new models and animation and lack of general detail ruin a lot of the game’s style and appeal it’s these subtle things that give games character, removing them would make them fade easier in the mess of other less well crafted games.
