Wow, at or near heard immunity? The constant increase in cases must be shocking to them.

I’ve had a very similar thought, but Asian communities have a respect for those around them and a sense of obligation to the group good that Americans just lack. Maybe ‘lack,’ is unfair, but prioritize WAY lower than self interest.
I’m so sick of any argument that boils down to ‘they don’t count because [reason].’ There is a rather large contingent in my state who subtracts prison cases/deaths from the COVID totals, saying things like ‘yeah, well 60 of yesterday’s cases were inmates.’ Who F’ing cares?!? Those are people too, just like old…
What sick person has a bookshelf it’s possible to have read through?
some baggers do need instruction. Sometimes very explicit instructions. Sometimes with explicit words.
It has nothing to do with this because the idea is the social contract and not the actual state of the cart, but as far as the carts go one of my first jobs was as a bagger at a supermarket and we used to argue over who got to go get the carts because it got us away from the rude as heck customers who pretty much…

Haha right? Take the most annoying piece of equipment from the gym, bring it into your home that wasn’t made for it and is nice and prepped for damage, and throw that thing for all it’s worth!

It’s shocking to me people are still making the ‘it’s my health,’ argument. If you’re honestly so misinformed it rings true to you then you aren’t well informed enough to have your opinions matter in the larger conversation.
It’s weird, I’ve never had any issues with separating the art from the artist. Don’t get me wrong, there are people who are definitely done getting my money, but I’m not going to abandon my enjoyment of something in a world that is already in dire need of more interesting and unique ideas.
DO THIS! My city just got hit by a ‘derecho,’ basically a storm that has high speed winds, (100+ here) going in just one direction, this was the world’s worst way to expand my vocabulary, on Monday and I’m still without power as I write this on Friday, and they are expecting another 5 days or so. I’m writing this via…
I was having a similar issue and I knew as a non constituent I would get nowhere, so now every time I feel like making a call I throw a 5 dollar donation at the Democratic candidate in the areas where they are weakest.
Also, even though it may be too late, help save the post office with just one vote this November.
Meh, the point was the genre: easy so as to be good for non gamers but group focused so MMORPG are basically perfect. LOTS of games meet those requirements, and we have cycled a couple, so I didn’t feel the need to give a list, just the broader suggestion of ‘hey, why not give a full on video game a try as long as…
Good on you. The day you are too old to learn something, you’ll find your quickly too old to learn anything.

Ugh, freaking Gargoyles. I’m convinced that show damaged the mental stability of an entire age group.
A small group of us has gotten into a very easy hand-holding MMO game using dual screens. Even the non-gamers have adapted pretty well.
Weird hack:
we don’t really know what happens when a large population of kids are potentially exposed all at once
It’s almost violently stupid, to coin a phrase.
