Molesworth One and a Half

Thank you for sharing your story. I was raised as a devout Catholic to the point where I wore the baby feet pin to school every day to show how pious I was. My day (years?) of reckoning came during the time I spent at my liberal arts college - we read the bible and treated it as mythology. It was like a whole new

I hear you - I’m the leader of my daughter’s first year Brownie troop and have been since she was a Daisy. I’m also a first year Service Unit Manager and this recruitment period is about to drive me over the edge. I love our Council but there is so much chaos involved in starting new troops because it is so hard to

Former state level rep staffer. It happens at the lower levels too.

Well it’s official now - I picked the wrong week to pretend to stop drinking. It’s really only Tuesday? I don’t even want to imagine what tomorrow will bring.

Now I know what I’m binge You Tubing tonight!

Mr. Molesworth and I will be celebrating our 17th anniversary in December. Still love him to pieces even if he does drive me crazy sometimes. :)

Same

I can only imagine what my Latin prof would say about this show. It would probably involve lots of profanities in several languages.

Nice to see some fellow Classicists here!

Ditto!

Thanks, I must have missed it when I looked. I’m more of a chocolate chip cookie dough gal myself but I was kind of interested to see how it tastes. I have family in Cincinnati so I’ll ask them if they have tried it.

The daily Fiona updates are one of the few things that are helping me to keep my sanity in this shitshow I call my life.

The ice cream is only available at the Graeter’s in the Cincinnati area so if you live in Columbus you’re out of luck. Actually, you’re out of luck if you live anywhere but the Cinci area because you can’t order it online.

My BiL has a cabin near Talkeetna. Unfortunately the only thing that comes into my mind when I hear about Talkeetna is that Mr. Molesworth (who is bipolar) went into complete meltdown the day we visited the town (not related to politics but the stress of being in an unfamiliar place for 7 days). I sincerely hope

Yay! I’m totally looking forward to going bankrupt trying to pay for Mr. Molesworth’s bipolar disorder meds and treatments so that the 1% can have “job creating” tax cuts! Thanks Obama! /s

I can’t tell you how excited I am about this book club! Although I must admit that my summer goal is to read all of the books from the original list. I need something to distract me from the shit show that is going on around me right now.

Thank you! It’s only been a year since his diagnosis, so it’s all new to both of us. We are lucky that we have insurance through his job, but I still worry that with all of the possible changes to the ACA our coverage will become spotty and/or nonexistent.

Thanks for the suggestion. He’s on Latuda and Seroquel right now but is somewhat resistant to change (I’m pretty sure its because of the long-term depression). He was just diagnosed last spring so living with bipolar is still relatively new to both of us.

Sending lots of good vibes your way. Mr. Molesworth is bipolar and his monthly meds would run us about the same as yours. He’s been in a depressive state for almost a year and I can’t even imagine what will happen if the ACA is gutted and coverage for mental health goes away. We would be bankrupt and my already

And an outdoor ice skating rink downtown Columbus. Yes, I’m really dating myself here - I remember going to skate there in the early 80's. I think it was near the Dispatch building but I was still in elementary school so paying attention to my location was not really on my radar at the time.
