I don't have the dexterity to do magic, but I've read several books on the subject, and I think one of the great things about understanding how misdirection works is that it makes you less gullible. You learn to recognize it in other places, like warmongering presentations to the UN.

So, Rainbow Symphony is on the 'official' list. I bought a viewer (not glasses) made with #14 welders glass (not any of that namby-pamby 'film') from RS on Amazon, and I got an email from Amazon that they couldn't confirm it was from an official manufacturer and refunded my money.
