As someone who was a school child in 1973, I can attest that winter DST sucks big rocks.

Although I’ll be retired by then and probably won’t care, I do feel for all the kids standing out waiting for the bus in the cold and the dark.

The Haunting. Forever and always, The Haunting.

Seriously - housing in cheap in places no one wants to live.

Not rocket science.

As a long time fan of the TV show, and not usually fond of movie remakes of classic shows, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved UNCLE.

It captured the spirit of the show without being a clone of same. So much fun. Cavill especially was a delight.

Yeah, this is why my gluten intolerant coworker can never eat anything at our potlucks, even the salads.

No, duh.

Don’t make films if you don’t know how humans work, Ryan.

I’m not really a horror fan, but my favorite scary film of all time is ‘The Haunting’, so I’m gonna have to go with Robert Wise.

He hardly ever makes any ‘best of’ lists, but I find that so many of my favorite films were directed by him. His films don’t stand in his shadow, like all these ‘auteur’ directors’ films so

I’ve been buying digital only for at least 20 years. I don’t remember the last time I went into a GameStop because it’s completely unnecessary.

I’m surprised they’re still around.

Any mental health advocate will tell you that mental illness =/= racism. Now, poor mental health might lower the barriers to EXPRESSING racism, but it’s not the CAUSE of it.

I tip well for table service and delivery. I do not tip on take out. I find that absurd.

I do note that when I travel to other countries that pay service workers well and don’t rely on tipping, that the service does not suffer. Now, the staff will not come to your table and ask you how things are as soon as you put

Tony Hillerman’s daughter Anne has taken over that series since his death, and her books are also good.

The first Scholomance book I found pretty hard to take, but I also just finished the series and found it well worth the angst. There are connections between the ‘inside’ world and the ‘outside’ world I never

Better get that looked at.

They’re not gonna do that to me again. I got The Sims 3 for 5 bucks years ago, and dammit ended up spending hundreds of dollars on the game.

Not doing that again, nuh uh, no sirree bob.

Modeling is often a pathway to acting, especially for women.

Do you not understand that?

I don’t follow her argument - attention spans have been shortening ever since TV sets became common. It’s certainly not something the theater ‘did’. Americans are overstimulated, and have been for years. That the fact affects pretty much everything is just something we have to learn to deal with. Going on a ‘kids

I’m not doing your homework for you, dude. There’s lots of literature on the subject.

Thanks for being the only person responding who’s talking about tea, and not personally attacking me for having an opinion.

Dude. Try googling things. It’s the 21st century!

I know! It’s like these people never heard of guns or poison or gravity.

I felt that way about ‘Get Out’. It still haunts me.

Also the original version of ‘The Haunting’. No ghost is as frightening as Eleanor was. Shiver!
