His review of ‘Fellowship of the Ring’ is just weird - he first complains it’s too fast, then too slow, then that it’s not like he remembers a book he read 30 years ago.

And he tended to swallow documentaries whole, without ever questioning if maybe they might be biased or just plain untrue.

Well, Jesus was a well-known Nazi fighter, after all.

As someone else who took 13 years to graduate from college, all I can say is, ‘Congratulations! It’s a great feeling, isn’t it?’

Considering that the natives of America were ‘replaced’ by white dudes like this dude - it’s definitely a case of expecting to be treated as one has treated others.

I can remember my mom making formula for my younger brother. Are there formula recipes on the internet somewhere?

It’s more labor intensive to make your own, for sure, but might provide a stop gap for those who are able to.

[Aside: Sigh. Women spend SO MUCH TIME being lectured on how to be a proper woman/mom/wife etc.

Ya know what kind of LOTR game I would LOVE - one set in the Shire between the Hobbit and the LOTR. Just hanging out, farming, smoking (Rated M for tobacco use), fishing, eating, helping out your neighbors. Compete for who can brew the best ale or blow the best smoke ring! Springle Ring contest!

Basically a no-combat

I did go to Notre Dame - there was a lovely Christmas concert going on that day.

Stardew Valley is not ‘peaceful’ - there’s an awful lot of unnecessary killing in the mines.

Why are there monsters in the mines? That never has made sense to me.

I really wish you guys would solve your formatting problem. We shouldn’t have to go to the page source to see what the hell you’re talking about.

No other Gizmodo site blocks half their articles with the useless ‘\n\n\n’ code. What is up with that?

Definitely eating veggies yourself will get your kids to be more open to trying them.

With some kids, even denying them veggies while eating them yourself (You’re too little for this!) will make the veggies the object of desire.

Second the nightly shower recommendation - it was a lifesaver when I lived in the Allergy Capital of the US (Ohio River Valley)

Wash your hair after sitting out in the pollen. You’ll be a lot happier.

I never have more than one service at a time.

Some friends and I went to see the original the weekend it opened. Some guys in headbanger gear were sitting in front of us and apparently thought the whole thing was real - cheering and whooping during the musical numbers, while my friends and I were laughing our asses off.

Headbangers kept turning and glaring at us

I think I may be the only tourist to visit Paris and not go to the Eiffel Tower.

Spent 5 days at the Louvre - still have my membership card. Walked past La Giaconda, didn’t particularly care.

Musee D’Orsay, Monet Marmottan, L’Orangerie were definitely the highlights.

Disagree about Hobbiton - I went during The Hobbit

But his mother is a woman! Her suffering is just part of the package! It doesn’t count!
