It’s not even really “rage quitting”. He’s just abusing the fact that the game has no leaver penalty to inflate his personal stats. I kinda hate how rage quitting has become the go to term for this stuff.

Oh please. That’s like saying if murder was legal, it would be morally acceptable to do it.

Its really not being ruined... the game plays the exact same for everyone involved.

Doesn’t this game use peer to peer and not server hosted matching? So if he happens to be the host and quits, everyone drops or it sits there waiting for a new host to take over... In that particular case, I would say it is a problem regardless of tourney play or not.

You could dismiss the concern for just about anything regarding video games with this logic.

Who’s really engaging in the more frivolous action, anyway? Them, complaining about people rage quitting in a game they like or you, going into a thread about something you explicitly don’t care about and complaining about…

Well in this particular game one dude leaving often cascades downward pretty badly.
