You know what I wondered? Why didn't the writers have Mickey break up with Ian? Would it have been so out of character for Mickey to say, "I love you but I can't do this anymore. I can't wonder where you are all the time." Then Ian saying all that pissy shit in S6 would've been justified — he was heartbroken.Yet, they

Noticeably hurt and yet noticeably relieved when Ian said he had thought about him a lot. You could see Mickey carrying that weight around with him, wondering if their love had always been one-sided. And I do believe, despite what we saw on screen, that Ian did think about Mickey. But that he felt the situation was

He did a pilot for NBC that didn't get picked up.

I'm starting to wonder if Ian ever intended to cross the border with Mickey or if his intention was to just see him safely cross. He said in the beginning, "How are you going to get across the border? You're a fugitive." Not, 'how are WE getting across?' Ian's the reason Mickey wasn't re-arrested. He was the stable

I agree it was a lame excuse. But I think it was said to spare Mickey's feelings. What was he going to say? "I was too busy banging a firefighter and trying to forget you."

I loved that Mickey and Ian pulled off to the side of the road to have sex. And Damon only seemed slightly inconvenienced. He wasn't a bad cat. Dim. But a good sport.

Yeah, last week and this week's episodes don't jive.

I feel like here on out he should be referred to as Noel Fucking Fisher. He earned it. That man better be courted by everyone in Hollywood. Man, I wish I wielded some kind of power.

No sweat.

I'd watch the fuck out of that.

I'm sure the showrunners are like, "woudla, shoulda, coulda," but…this is what we're left with.

Not to be nitpicky, but I think you mean 'Ian' here: "After that, the show stumbled through a problem not dissimilar from the
one created by Monica—how could they create new stories (and boyfriends)
for MICKEY? when the idea of Gallavich was so intoxicating for a
significant group of fans and, very possibly, some of

Not to nitpick, but he didn't. The whole reason Svetlana paid Ian to come with her to the prison was because Mickey wouldn't see her nor Yevgeny unless Ian came. She wanted Mickey to see the baby. Mickey only cared about seeing Ian.

I don't think he's manic right now. His inability to sleep can easily stem from his preoccupation with Mickey. Once he and Mickey were together, he slept.

I never really blamed Mickey for not being able to bond with his son, considering how he was conceived.

Give Noel Fisher a fucking Mickey spin-off. Who wouldn't watch him get into shit in Mexico?

I didn't get that impression. Ian's head tilt to Mickey's "boyfriend?" said, "Kinda. It's a long story."

My thought was Ian wasn't responding to the burner, so Mickey called him on his cell just to reach him in a "now or never" message.

I assume this is where Damon comes in to play — although based on that small clip from 7x11, he might be a liability.

I inferred he couldn't sleep because he was preoccupied with whether he should see Mickey again — not because he's manic.
