Unfortunately, sometimes restraining orders for orders for protection can be hard to get. In my state, there is a $300+ filing fee for restraining orders if you can’t link the cause to domestic violence, and orders for protection can only be issued (typically) if physical abuse has already taken place.

I'm also getting married soon— in 3 months— and I cannot wait for it to be over. All the opinions of others, blech. My MIL stalks our registry and comments about it regularly to me, and my SO's groomsmen have caused way more drama about their tuxedos than I would expect of 25-35 year old men.

I totally agree that it varies by person. I've heard so many different accounts of the procedure from friends. One of my friends passed out during it, others experienced extreme pain, others said it was just like a pinch.
