In his vulture interview he mentions that dying his hair is a long process so I wonder if it's just them having to adjust his color again.

I continue to adore this show and all the talk about racism in very normalized ways only helped that - not just with the Pussycats but touches with Veronica. Speaking again on KJ Apa - surely the red hair is a signature but with so many shades of red and ethnically diverse actors I wonder if casting one parent as a

I'm honestly not sure how to take all the Archie fan service since his actor is 19 but him being a sophomore makes him 15/16 but at least this episode really drove home how damaging this Grundy is (even if I wish she were a niece or daughter of the original instead of just aged down) and did well to make Cheryl more

There's no need for me to assume anything when it was announced that his mother is being played by Molly Ringwald -

I never said casting should be perfect or discounted the other diversity among the cast - that was what made me want to watch in the first place - just that it would be nice if they hadn't decide to go with two white parents for Archie when his actor isn't this.

Who is annoyed? I only pointed out a fact but nice that you presume my background in the process. I didn't realize wanting a mixed POC to be represented as such was a bad thing but ok.

Pointing out that an actor who is an ethnic person is being whitewashed because both people playing his parents aren't ethnic isn't complaining simply to do so, merely pointing out a fact, nor does saying so magically make me angry.

Does it?

They revealed their informant was Wes but that he never got to tell them anything

And the actor himself isn't white, hence my saying he was being white washed. Nothing inherently about Archie Andrews demands whiteness

KJ Apa is half samoan and both of his show parents are white.

Sincerely waiting for someone to call Connor out on his dogpiling of his guilty conscience onto Wes, as if he wasn't right there covering for murders or altering evidence himself. He could've saved himself but didn't and Wes was an easy scapegoat for him. Until that happens tho the punch will be enough.

Likely they ascribe it all to the twin vibes and are simply letting her be since who calls out someone that just lost their twin?

Josie was fun and we meet her mom next week so I'm interested in where they go with her.

Genuinely can't tell if they were or if Cheryl simply wish they were and couldn't take it anymore. She's who I am earmarking at this point for the prime murder suspect.

Yeah, Kevin calling Cheryl a widow seemed very apt. Either she was in love but he wasn't and she killed him or he had stopped returning her love and she killed him .

I would like that myself, considering his actor is being whitewashed as it were and it might be a great way to correct it.

Catering to Kurt/Blaine shippers was so obnoxious to do so early on and with no character work to get there. Leaving them as platonic friends as originally planned or even taking a season & a half to eventually build them to more would have made both more interesting.

I liked it more than anticipated - especially since the driving point of my checking it out was the cast diversity alone - and since she isn't mentioned here I wanted to note Josie and how much I liked her moment. 'Justin Gingerlake' is slightly corny but she sells it beautifully.
