*Chastain sips her wine and DMs back*
You're goddamn right.
*bitchin' saxophone solo*

Somehow make her a doctor cop with a law degree who is also recently divorced - no, WIDOWED! - with two small kids and a live-in dad… can we get Shatner? Wait, he said what? Oh shit. Um, then… Oh! A live-in gay ethnic type… stepfather! George Takei!

Depends. Are we giving him credit for producing People vs OJ? Because that show was, obviously, fantastic.

Well maybe she should tell her dad Opie to pitch some shows featuring strong female leads!

This is good advice. Maybe watch the pilot (which has already been done here) and the finale, and then jump right ahead to season 2. No more Hawks, no more Vandal Savage, plus a strong influx of Neal McDonough, Reverse Flash, and Malcolm Merlyn as the trio of villains. Plenty of ham to go around but they embrace the

Because nostalgia was cool until it wasn't. Or something.

Hell, Scott Crossfield (well the actor who played him, obviously) went on to become, among many many many other roles, Hershel from The Walking Dead, while another of Yeager's rivals early in the film was the dad from Boy Meets World. What a loaded cast.

Holy shit, he did both of those movies? Wow. I had no idea his resume was so impressive.

I completely forgot he was in that, but now I'm saying to myself, "Oh yeah, that's right! He had so much effortless, casual charm in that role!"

This just makes me even more sad, since when he wasn't on screen with Julia Roberts, he was on screen with John Heard, who obviously we also just lost. Ugh.

And I had no clue until today that Shepard co-wrote one of Bob Dylan's songs. That's… that's what we call "credentials." As if he needed more.

It's funny, just last week I began reading Tom Wolfe's book on which the movie is based, in large part because Shepard was so good as Chuck Yeager that I wanted more of that person.

I for whatever reason always confused him with Scott Glenn, probably because I saw The Right Stuff before I was old enough to distinguish between the two.

Well, I mean, clearly it's been at least a LITTLE bit of time, because simultaneously, Jamie (who was last seen alongside Euron) is shown riding up with the Lannister army to the Tyrell stronghold as Euron's fleet is attacking the Unsullied fleet.

I imagine the "research" was potentially hindered with Bryce when your brain kept reminding you she's from the same gene pool as Clint Howard.

This entire thought process has sent me down the thread of finding out if Tom has a daughter who Bryce Dallas could cast and it turns out, his daughter Elizabeth was the girl on the bus in Forrest Gump who says "Can't sit here!" to young Forrest. #themoreyouknow

I was about to say Colin Hanks but yours works as well. But we all know Tom Hanks would KILL IT as Amber Appleton in this project.

Is she, like her father, going to be legally obligated to cast Tom Hanks in the role of the lead character?

Holy shit, he was in Black Hawk Down?!
