lol I’m not tipping for a water

Sure ain’t. We’re talking about Mo’Nique’s circumstances. No one else. But when it comes to actually entertaining people or the demand for her work (which is what this discussion is about), Mo’Nique isn’t on equal ground, or anywhere near it, of the three people she used as her examples.

if you’re claiming that you’re being discriminated against based on your race, pointing out two people of your same race who make a lot more than you’re demanding isn’t the way to go.

The Alex/Ruby plotline was pretty bad

imagine that. No scenes with James - and the show miraculously has no screeching halt moments. Wonder why.

lol. Sorry those pesky words keep getting in the way of your narrative. Thanks for chiming in Mo’Nique. I hope things work out for you.

lol so just to clarify for the masses here, it is your belief that when stating that Mo’Nique specifically was not racially discriminated against as it pertains to her examples of two black, much more accomplished and successful comedians getting much more money than her is equal to:

That is not true. That is a lie

I liked it. Sure there were a few issues, but it opened some interesting doors for a future franchise that could be fun to explore. Critics did their little pile-on with it and can’t believe that viewers might actually enjoy something that they didn’t.

The whole “a couple black guys are millionaires so obviously there is no racism anymore” isn’t true or a valid argument

Begging the question.

John Cena, irrelevant and off-putting professional wrestler.

can’t wait to hear Mo’Nique’s take on this

She thinks she is worth more than $500,000. She is probably right.

I quoted the guy in the video. Those are his words.

why shouldn’t the disparity be that large? What does she bring to the table currently that would close that gap? She won some awards 8 years ago for a movie role and did a bad talk show. That’s it.

if people want to go for more money - have at it. But when you don’t get it, don’t lazily claim it’s because of both race and gender bias... while using examples that debunk your exact claim. She’s trying to publicly shame Netflix into giving her money for unsupported reasons, not because she’s worth it or has earned

she won a bunch of awards for her role in Precious... then had a really bad talk show for a while. Never really did much of anything else you’d notice her in.

did you ever see her talk show? That thing was BAD

That may be influencing Netflix
