How is asking you to reboot your machine or I'll do it for you, an arbitrary limit? If I recall, Windows Vista, 7, and 8 will all reboot your machine after an update, if you don't postpone it.
Unnecessary.. It takes my machine to 12 seconds to reboot. If you can't wait that then should look into other issues
