The difference between Joss Whedon and Louis CK is that Whedon actually made things that I enjoyed, while Louis CK I never thought was funny. I always thought he was an asshole. 20 years ago I had no idea Whedon was the dick he’s now coming out to be and I was enjoying the TV shows and movies he made.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive. You put a statement of importance online for the world to see, maybe take a second and make sure it’s not open to people saying “was she high when she wrote this?”...It distracts from the point.

I was introduced to this guy in Fringe, and I’ve loved him in everything I’ve seen (or heard, in Destiny’s case) him in, so him being an awesome dude is just icing on the cake. 

Fringe is awesome, especially all of Walter’s shenanigans. It goes a bit crazy in the last season with the September stuff, but all the fan service and tied up loose ends made up for it.

If you need some wild ass sci-fi to watch, you could do a whole hell of a lot worse than Fringe. Lance Reddick is fantastic in it. 

He was seriously lit during Fringe on Fox. If you haven’t seen that already, it’s worth a go--great acting and world building, and they use the ‘monster of the week’ formula just enough to keep things going, but don’t lean on it too heavily (save for the second season IIRC). 

He really is a treasure.

Now we get to watch the far right make excuses for her behavior and use Woke, SJW and Cancel Culture as a scapegoat for her her horrible comments. It’s all their fault! She’s just a poor innocent victim

Just before we have some of the usual ‘Cancel culture gone mad!’ comments, no, she is not being ‘cancelled’, she is facing the consequences of using a public platform, the internet equivalent of shouting out in the middle of the street, to make questionable comments, and Disney would rather not have to deal with it.…

It baffles me that I keep encountering the idea that this woman is somehow the underdog or even a hero after this moment of colossal and self-inflicted fuckery.

If you really have to be told not to put an industrial strength adhesive in your hair you shouldn’t be left alone with a glass of water.

To their credit, I would say the combat was the most enjoyable out of all the MEs. I assumed that was the building block for Anthem, which also had fun combat. Disclaimer: I’m only speaking about the combat.

isn’t it kinda bullshit that when a little guy loses his shirt in the stock market and hedge funds rake in the money, nobody bats an eye but if you reverse that situation everyone goes bananas?
