It varies by region, but MDMA isn’t as prevalent in many places having been replaced by other drugs. I see a lot more butylone, eutylone or N-ethylpentylone cases than I do MDMA. Regardless of the switch, the drugs are still widely called “ecstasy”.

My friend has never actually had sex while on ecstasy, but that’s because my friend had a hard time focusing on anything other than the waves of pleasure rolling through his body for about eight hours. What I can tell you though is that the appeal of ecstasy is that it’s amazing. Just the feeling of ecstasy itself…
