It was a mediocre movie with poor writing and weird pacing. The Force powers were not its problem, in fact they were fine.

Mary Poppins is cool.
Never had an issue with this scene from a force perspective..
Luke pulling the sabre from the ice block in the Wampa Cave
The emperors Force lightning? Never before seen things - the force? Cool ok
No, my issue was the way it was filmed, the visual effect, the very angle to me was humorous, I actually started laughing on…
same, lot of problems with this movie and this was not one.
I’m not a fan of this movie, I have my problems with it (structural and content wise).
I’m sick of all these potshots against Rogue One’s CGI Tarkin.
I hope Bruce Springsteen offers to play at Phil Murphy’s swearing in.
Relevant Penny Arcade is Relevant.
Tom Cotton read this, then immediately left his office, briefly mentioning on his way out that he ‘needed to return some video tapes...’
After that.....this happened.
It’s an excellent film to be fair, it’s just not an easy to watch film, and there is something nice about having the time to show all the things most movies skip for pacing purposes and TV shows have the time for, but rarely the budget.
I’m right there with you on the Revolution idea. I’d love to see that expanded upon. Honestly, I’d love to see an episodic Blade Runner series on one of the mature-audience-oriented networks or Netflix. Seems like a great world to investigate through a high-quality, ongoing show.
I would be interested in them continuing the story of the “replicant revolution” they established in 2049- but only if they get a director on board as good (or better) than Dennis Villanueve.
Ridley Scott needs to sit the fuck down and shut up for a while. He’s been trying to make himself happen again for whatever reason.
Spawffn, the exciting BBC Welsh cop drama, now on Netflix.
Plus:
I’d like ME1 to have the gunplay of 3. And have 2 have the RPG depth of 1, or at the very least 3. But 1 would be ideal.
Gotta say while so many are looking at Trump for being the corrupt fuck up he is, I got my eyes on congressional repubs. These fuckheads are providing cover for Trump.
Fantasy Flight has been hitting their Star Wars licensed board games out of the park. X-Wing, Armada, Rebellion, and Imperial Assault have all been amazing.
The worst part about EA’s handling of Star Wars is that I can’t feel any enthusiasm from them. Every other form of media that Star Wars has invaded since the Disney acquisition have been firing on all cylinders. Books, comics, TV shows, and the movies, of course - and everyone involved in those projects just seem so…
