I have no idea who this dude is but from reading this story, the guy was accused, didn’t deny it, apologised, stepped down, went to rehab, and has now been allowed back in a very reduced capacity as a copywriter, not in a leadership position, and won’t be at the festival. It sounds like he’ll have to work his way back…

Sad part is I went to Fark to see if they had a link to the story on the main page for comments so I could go “Reports say the suspect was earlier seen getting busy in a Burger King bathroom”. (You can use the same theme but vary your joke between websites.)

Here’s the scenario that pisses me off.

Leaving this in could easily be seen as an act of endorsement. Taking it out is the right call. They don’t need anymore of a platform then they have already been able to obtain.
