I love the original Mass Effect trilogy and it is hands down one of my (if not THE) most beloved sci-fi properties ever.

Can’t say I disagree there. The loot grind was brutal and the stuff you acquired was precious (even some of the expendables could be hard to come by). Ain’t nobody want to start that from scratch again if they’ve already put work in before.

I revisited it recently on Xbox (it’s on GamePass) and at least for the bronze and silver tiers there was no real trouble queuing up. Games got underway quickly. 

Getting stuck on the aside here, but

Things have really changed since this game first came out, but looking back on it, my reaction is still “Ew....Jacob?”

Oh man, I played this one on PC until I got my first clear + a little after.

I just starting a Destiny break. Hoping to come back sometime in season 13, but I’ve been running the game since quarantine myself. Time to hop off that treadmill and explore some other stuff for a little bit.

I’m really sick of all these masks. On a good day you look like a shitty ninja and on a bad one you look like you have a diaper on your mug.

Did the quest already expire or is it just buggy?

Seriously, it boggles the mind that Microsoft likely paid millions to marketing/research teams to arrive on the name Xbox Series X/S. That’s not just burning money, it’s getting yourself caught on fire in the process.

So much murder. It’s funny, when Mario jumps on these guys to remove them it’s fine, but when you shoot them in the face with a silenced pistol it’s...deeply unsettling?

My buddy gifted me a copy of the game on Steam. I’m in no rush to get to it - at this point, I’m thinking about circling back to it in six to twelve months and we’ll see how things shake out then.

You know, silly as it is amidst all the death and shit going on, I am honestly still pissed that we are in the middle of a dystopian future where we all have to where masks and none of them really look cool. I’m okay wearing masks but the ones we have suck.

Yep, as others have said, 100% on board with this.

Ha ha man, I remember writing here before the game came out about how it had much the same setup as No Man’s Sky. Way too much hype, eager fans with imaginations and expectations run amok, no possibility in hell it could ever live up to what it was being sold as.

It’s exploitative, preying upon people with FOMO. They are taking advantage of people’s fears to sell them something they might not otherwise buy.

Mrs. Goofy was down to hyuck but Mr. Goofy couldn’t bring it and so she left in search of someone compatible.

I’m so hyped for this...but at the same time, by this point, I’m also wishing it was a different studio at the reins.
