Borderlands 2 has been my go to example of worthwhile, high-value DLC for years now. And here they go upping it yet another notch.

Gamers: We want Triple AAA games, and we want the full likeness of the 20 high-grossing celebrities who played these characters in the billion-dollar MCU franchise, and we want free DLC with it too, and it better be a 90% on metacritic or you can forget it.

I stand corrected on the “Breath of the Wild is the first time they’ve actually really established a past together” bit

In most Zelda games, I think Zelda would have very little motivation to save Link beyond professional courtesy/reciprocity. I mean, if you go play those older games, Link and Zelda meet for 5 minutes, Zelda gets nabbed, and we follow Link on his quest to save her that ends with Zelda going “Oh, hey, you’re that kid

Indeed I did!

My reaction to what ‘most people’ are saying about this E3.

The seasons stuff seems extremely polarizing.

I was in Utah and they had a local chain out there that probably used a pound of cheese on an otherwise normal large size pizza.

I feel like this is already one of the most exciting E3's in many years.  So much good stuff coming our way.

Luigi’s Mansion 3

Still really unsure about this one.

I just replayed a Link Between Worlds (still phenomenal BTW) and I’ve never played Link’s Awakening (one of the very few Zelda games I’ve never touched).

FWIW, my buddy and I have been eyeing this Switch game for online co-op. Something more involved and action-y while still being a Switch title.

Ha ha I know exactly what you’re talking about. Some hotels have actually gotten way better about internet, and you can even call their service desks to white list your MAC address to make for easier/steadier connections.

I love your deep dives into Metal Gear, Heather.  Consistently great reads.

Stephen Hillenburg didn’t want this.

Nope, not at all.  But that’s the goal Stadia could, in theory, complete for me.  I don’t think they will, but if they want my money, boom.  Help me with that.

It’s a step in the right direction, and yes, I carry one with me always when I travel. Been cracking my way through Hollow Knight recently. I also carry a 3DS, though that’s getting less use all the time.

So they solved the Last Mile problem, right guys?
