I don’t think we’re seeing quite eye to eye here, but I think I get what you’re going for and I don’t fault you for it.

Yeah, I don’t buy a word of your arguments here.
Which article are you talking about? It links to an article talking specifically about vitriolic fan behavior, but that piece says nothing about people who dislike TLJ for non-bigoted reasons/reasons that aren’t directly contradicted by the text.
I bought my Apple Watch 4 brand new. I like it, but man, not a day goes by where I feel like it was worth the price tag. I think I would have been much happier with a Apple Watch 3 once they cut the price.
Seeing Rocket take Nebula’s hand.....damn.
Literally what I’m talking about in this whole thread here. You and this response. You’ve proved my whole point for me there.
It’s practically a pattern; the discussion is rarely “this is why I didn’t like the movie”, but instead “WHY do you say TLJ haters are ALT-RIGHT??? I’m NOT!”. :/
I can answer this, at least from my own perspective.
I’m guessing you meant that to be some kind of negative thing, but I’m sorry, no.
Because that’s literally what the article is about. Literally why I thanked Germain for making this point. That’s the topic of discussion here.
I respect your opinion on that and I agree with your view on the matter.
I never said it belonged to me. I hate Star Wars Rebels, but I’m not out here trying to take it away from anyone. I’ll make fun of it, I’ll criticize what I see as the flaws, but I’d never take it away from them even if I could. They can enjoy it all they want, it’s just not for me. Same with Resistance. Same with the…
It’s really, really tiring.
There are some lucky, lucky folks out there whose full time job is to engineer these wonderful sets. And I am so jealous. They do an incredible job.
Man, it’s really not hard to prove my point about people coming at you around here just for not liking TLJ. All the fans have to go out of their way to cram it down your throat, even on a piece like this.
Nope, that’s comic canon. Or at least it was when I was a big Spider-Man comic dork in the 90s
I consider The Last Jedi to be a dumpster fire, but that’s just my personal opinion on the film. But that’s not what I’m saying about the whole franchise under Disney (I actually love TFA, Rogue One, and Solo), just saying that it’s an under performer on something that should never under perform.
I can’t edit my comment, but for clarification, this part was about The Last Jedi, not Force Awakens:
I think the original, core Knights of the Old Republic storyline had some great stuff. And the first playthrough, where you get that big reveal about Revan towards the end, well, that’s the stuff of legends. Even some of the follow-up materials that delved more into how Revan became what he was had some real…
Three things I want to see straight up in Spider-Man. Not things inspired them, I just want to see the real deal versions of these suits with that MCU touch:
