It’s time for Chuck and Nancy to go.  The time for their version of democrat is dead and gone.

It’s been depressing lately to think about who we (as americans) glamorize, who we elect to office, and how we ruthlessly mock Guy Fieri at virtually every turn.  Those things really paint a picture of who we are as a nation.

“Procedurally generated” and “Metroidvania” are two things I never like seeing together.

How’s the replay treating you?

I don’t know that I’ve ever actually asked for content to be removed from Destiny/Destiny 2, but yeah.....we’d all be better off if the Infinite Forest was struck from the game I think.

I’ve been waiting for this.

I loved that stinger, but I was really hoping they’d give us a glimpse of Captain Marvel with the second one.  As a result, that second one was hugely disappointing to me.  Oh well.

No dialogue/story? Thank effing fuck.

I can sympathize.  I liked Rick and Morty, Steven Universe, and a few other lightning rods for the worst humanity has to offer.  Outside of a context like this, I honestly won’t bring those things up anymore.  

They always say “Never meet you heroes”, but to me, it’s always been “never meet other fans”.  They will inevitably ruin whatever thing you once loved and make you ashamed to be associated with it.

I loved Legion S1, but I haven’t been able to get past episode 4 of season 2. It just wasn’t compelling enough to keep me motivated.

The problem is there’s no one in the game to really add balance or fill the vacuum when he’s gone. Hawthorne’s the best runner up we have, and I like her, but she’s no Cayde-6.

You are correct, I do not only judge a shooter based on the shotgun (my post above is a bit tongue in cheek, but does align pretty closely with how I feel). That said, if a shooter cannot deliver on this fundamental aspect and do it well, it will always feel like a car with only three wheels: one that can drive fine…

There are two words which, when put together, will completely kill my interest in any game. They are “nerf” and “shotgun”. You do not nerf the power of shotguns. There are definitely arguments to limit the effective range of a shotgun, but never the power.
