This is weird. You normally get rewarded when you epitomize your company’s core values.

$1500 and that hat so I could throw it in the trash where it belongs.
I think Netflix has canceled every single original that I’ve gotten into outside of Stranger Things.
“It’s not a delay,” EA’s chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen told the Wall Street Journal later. “People are trying to create a story.”
As MLK Jr. once said, “Assholes beget more assholes.”
Same! I started with 2K1 as well. 2K16 is the last one I bought. The basketball in 2K16 was great, but MyCareer started feeling very grindy compared to 13 and 14. But for $4.99, you could now get that 3 point skill higher.
It’s sad to see what’s happened to NBA 2K. I feel so bad for the developers of that game. They make a hell of a game only to be ruined by greed. That was an annual purchase for me, but have skipped the last couple years.
I cannot wait to hear how bad the explanation is. They are going to gather a whole room full of overpaid people and crap out one of the cringiest official statements of all time.
I’ve read all of these fantastic articles and one thing is very common. After shipping each game, the leaders of the company say things will change and they’ll never do this again. Why should anyone at Bioware believe things are going to get better? They’ve been hearing about it for a decade.
If you like city builders, check out Ostriv. It’s still in early access, but quite good. Especially considering it’s being made by one guy.
Great work as usual, but I’m not happy with the results. It’s a lot easier for me to blame it all on EA instead of learning that my favorite developer of all time has very bad leadership.
“If we’re honest with ourselves, we’re not there right now.”
I applaud you for working in the 5 Ds of Dodgeball.
I feel ya. I’m in an area that if you aren’t lucky enough to overpay Charter or Comcast, you get Windstream DSL. I feel sorry for anyone that has to do business with that dumpster fire of a company. Most people in the town I work (serviced almost 100% by Windstream) say they are lucky to get 5-7 mbps when paying for…
That’s my thought as well. In theory and controlled environment, this is probably very possible. But as soon as you start including fuckboys like Charter and Comcast, it’s gonna slow down considerably. I’m lucky enough to not have a data cap right now, but I know it’s coming. The cable companies aren’t gonna lose all…
“Google is claiming that you can play games at 4K at 60 frames-per-second using a 30 Mbps connection”
Same! I played it with a friend in college and his love for the fish breeding almost ruined me. I just wanted to see the ending!
The developers are the only people that will get hurt by this campaign and they had nothing to do with the decision. Fellow gamers, we gotta do better and be better. The mob mentality that has formed is going to end up hurting us in the long run.
