The show Gotham isn’t about the origin of Batman at all. It’s showing us an alternate version of the Batman universe where Jim Gordon prevents Bruce Wayne from ever having to become Batman.

No more so than inventing and building them himself, surely?

I actually have a most likely incorrect fan theory about that. I think it’s possible that the show is about an alternate universe where Bruce Wayne is eventually saved by Gordon from having to become Batman at all.

I haven’t seen it but I believe Jones’ character is a historian who only has a part-time job in the subway? I may be taking that up wrong.

I was thinking more of the whole bit about how helping people was Clark’s Dad’s dream, despite being the exact opposite of what he wanted in MOS.

I wish they wouldn’t have made so many cuts in that video. It kind of robs the stunt of something when you don’t see it in one continuous shot.

It’s a really fun series but in this story Kelvin Kirk recognises young Spock Prime as being the younger version of the Old Spock he knew from the 2009 movie and that made my brain itch unpleasantly.

Spooks of Saturn looked to be terrible though, so dodged a bullet there.

It’s a horrible Photoshop job for sure but it’s tough to tell if it’s an OK costume ruined by bad Photoshop or bad Photoshop failing to hide a bad costume. Also he’s not even standing on the same plane as Kara so his right foot looks weirdly elevated. I can’t unsee it.
