I unapologetically love The Challenge. The production has always been a little shoddy and that usually contributes to the charm - - but this shit was so irresponsible and preventable. 

While Wolfpack isn’t going to take the nation by storm, I do hope it’s the start the SMG-renaissance. 

Three Points:

I am sure Mike White is under a lot of pressure to bring a character back. I am fine either way. I am looking forward to another Survivor contestant cameo though! 

This review is surprising because Fern Gully II: the Magical Rescue was not better than Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest and I was convinced that was the template we were following here.

The final episode of Enlightened is pretty special though. I rewatch it often. even though I was hoping for a 3rd season - I do love where we left Amy (and fucking Krista)

It is possible for an attempt a satire to fail. Some people even like the mess that creates. but let’s be real - the last season of Search Party fucking sucked. That’s coming from someone who LOVES the show as a whole. 

It think this finale should have also put Meghann Fahy in the running. The change in her face when talking to Ethan was a masterclass.

just to clarify - several seasons of Survivor skipped a beach locale (back when the show wasn’t permanently set in Fiji) and it wasn’t all bad - Survivor China rules & Survivor Gabon is one of the best comedy of errors in reality television — just pure mess.

That Groucho Marx-looking mother fucker really lucked out. 

I hear the central performance in Tar is really something, but I’d really like to see this go to Yeoh. fingers crossed. 

Lets go with “Yes” although I can’t speak for certain bc I don’t really remember. I do remember humans are there in the first place because they are seeking a material called unobtainium (yes, unobtainium). So nuance wasn't really a consideration here. 

Life is short, I hope those who spend 3 hours and 10 minutes plus on this new Avatar movie feel like it is time well spent. I was a hater of the first film so I will skip this one — that said, The World of Pandora area of Animal Kingdom is really cool.
