Did no one see the Boy and the Heron yet?

You’re telling me Disney took something fun and overdid it?

All of the Franklin stuff was cringe at the time, but went down easier under the guise of “these people are awful.” In retrospect, it’s a hard watch for sure and pretty unredeemable.

I would not fault anyone for taking the money and joining/rejoining the MCU - that said, the churn and burn of these shows/movies must be exhausting to everyone involved.

Your point is valid, but also ALF is PERFECT.

My very minor quibble here - I want to build my own cup - specifically the “rainbow cup” comprised of 4 version of rainbow road - but I guess I can still do that using vs mode.

The talking flowers rule! ...and I am sure I will still think that a week from now......

I will use this as yet another excuse to assert that Fleabag Season 2 Episode 1 is not just a great season opener, it’s one of the best television episodes of all time.

The snark here is embarrassing, even by today’s AVClub standards....

I hate being the “um actually...” guy, but here goes anyway: asynchronous is not the correct characterization here. This is literally synchronous play, but not co-op. It’s not like say, Mario Kart, where you race another players saved ghost data, they are playing at the same time, but you do no interact like you do in

You know what you have to do: curate a collection of your favorite media on your format of choice and hope we have access to electricity in the end times.

It being “the last of its kind” does not exclude it from also being “a waste of fucking time” - it is both these things.

I respect the “when it’s ready” answer for Beyond the Spiderverse, but with these different versions of Across the Spiderverse apparently that rule didn’t apply to this film? Sounds to me the only reason different versions exist is b/c the team was allowed to keep tinkering after the initial deadline. None of those
