I would have to think there’s a spot for greatest return man ever. Special teams are a part of football too (see: NE fumbling Baltimore back into the game last night).

Been watching The Alien (that’s what we called him on UM messageboards ages ago, using a little green alien face emote) for 14 years. I was at that UF game in 03, and saw his return from behind the play. Consider myself a bit of an expert on the subject matter at hand.

Devin was a magician and it was amazing watching him work.

My favorite part is the tricks teams would try while kicking in order to keep him from getting the ball. Teams would let the bears start at the 40 rather then let him catch and run with it.

If there’s one punter in the Hall of Fame, Hester belongs there. His bust in the Hall should be pointed away from the kickers with the head looking over his shoulder. Hester was the best, he belongs in the HoF.

Also remember that he would have probably scored 20 more TDs if the league hadn’t moved the kickoff up early in his career.

One of the Highlights of my football life is watching the comeback the Bears mounted against the Cardinals in 2006, which was a game won by the defense and the special teams — including a Devin Hester return TD.

I feel like he’s a special case for the Hall of Fame. Wildly famous when at his peak, admired by everyone around the league, terrifyingly good at what he did. Being the best ever, even at a relatively low leverage position, should count for something.

Plus, there’s quite a difference between criticizing the refs and declaring the entire league is rigged - especially after the conference finals where if anything, the league apparently was rigged in GS favor.

I believe that if the Hulk Hogan video were instead the Linda Hogan video, Gawker would never have published it and would have run at least a few articles condemning anyone who thought that publishing it was free speech rather than an invasion of her sex life.

What about the video of that girl getting raped then telling her to deal with it?

The guys at Barstool are morons and far from saints, but this site has its head so far up its own ass its unreal. Take a guess which site posted a video of a girl being raped in the bathroom of a bar, and outright told her and her family to “piss off” when they asked to have it taken down. Not to mention owning Hulk…
