I'm looking to purchase Atelier Rorona Plus and/or Child of Light for my Vita (my PS3 is back home in the States; I haven't had time to ship it out to the UK). Any thoughts on either game? I've never played a game like the Atelier series, but for some reason I think I might really like it... or absolutely hate it.

So nice to see The Master and Margarita on there. Hands down my favorite book. The version I had was filled with really detailed footnotes that helped explain a lot of what was going on. Sounds annoying, but really helpful for non-russophiles like me. Here's the link if you're so inclined: http://www.amazon.com/Master-

I've always thought this. It's most likely related to stress.

I am kind of nostalgic for longer URLs that you really had to memorize. Xena: Warrior Princess was one of my favorite shows, so when I finally had access to the Internet (and not Prodigy), the first website I went to was Xena's. Sure, it wasn't extremely long, but http://www.universalstudios.com/tv/xena/ was pretty

I actually couldn't wear my retainer because it made breathing at night really difficult (I guess I'm a mouth breather when I sleep). I lucked out, though, because I only have one tiny crooked tooth. Gives me edge. ;)

Your comment needs to be immortalized for all to see.

For those times when you REALLY need to respond, I usually write a response in a text edit program, take a deep breath, and then close the window without saving. When I was more active on Gawker sites, I used to do that quite a bit as well. It feels great because you basically trick your emotional brain into thinking

Weird, I've never equated IKEA with suburbs. My first IKEA experience was in Taipei. My next IKEAxperience was the one in New Haven, CT, which I guess can arguably be considered in the suburbs, but only arguably. And finally, the one in Brooklyn. Granted, this past year in Chicago I was shocked to discover that there

That was amazing. Thank you.

When I lived in Beijing 13 years ago, most of the scams involved little kids who would swarm you and try to get money from you and then give the money to their den mother. A friend of mine was always their target, and they would run up to him and just wrap their arms and legs around his legs so he couldn't move. They

I've had the music CD thing happen a few times in NYC, but never had anyone threaten me. I think once you give it back they pester you, but it's not unlike the Children International people.

I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn't get into it. I think the fighting system was just so new and different for me that it was hard to adjust.

I downloaded it, and now I can't access my messages. It will show me when there's a new one, but when I tap on the messenger icon, nothing happens. :/

Am I the only one for whom Hola has NEVER worked? I've tried it in all variations, but still, nothing. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Yeah, getting work visas is really difficult. I'm lucky since I'm a dual citizen of the US and Italy, so I'm allowed to exercise my treaty rights and move to the UK.

The position is for someone who is licensed in the US because it involves US law. In all but one of the 51 jurisdictions in the US, nonlawyers are prohibited from owning a law firm, and lawyers are also prohibited from fee-sharing with nonlawyers. This is not the case in DC, the UK, or Australia, which have all seen

Yeah, thanks. It just sucks since I really want to move to Europe and to do so for a job would be great. I don't have enough money to just up and move without anything secure waiting for me.

They've had no money from me, and the job requires someone who is licensed to practice law in the US, so that's all fine. It just seems a bit shady for my taste. Would have loved to have discovered this beforehand. Anyway, I've sent the employer a long email with questions. We'll see if they answer them or decide not

Not that I know of. It's a legitimate company with a comprehensive website, etc. It just seems a bit sketchy that they would wait until two-three days before making the decision (which has been put off several times already) to tell me of this potentially big ethical issue. I've sent a pretty long email addressing
