I’ll admit that I’m almost 40, so I don’t think I’m the target audience for these people, or for most “influencers” or “YouTubers”, etc. But are these people supposed to be compelling in any way? They all seem about as interesting as a damp cloth. And why do they all have such small beds? If I had that master bedroom,

That’s how I treat Dark Souls type games. I just can’t do it, but I love watching others play.

I didn’t ever think I’d be into something like Game Pass, but I have used it to check out games I’ve always thought about getting, and it’s great. For instance, I’m playing FFXV right now, and I’m really enjoying it. Probably wouldn’t ever have played it if it weren’t on Game Pass! But to each their own. I understand

Yeah, I loved Amsterdam, but we’d have to live wherever is close to where the bf’s potential new job is since I can work from home.

The bf is from a small town in Northern Ireland but has been in England for 20 years. We’re both ready for something new. Just need to renovate the flat and find a job. Shouldn’t be too difficult, right? ;)

It’s ~okay~. Going on 6 years. Met the bf here, which is good, but he’s itching to move somewhere else. Hopefully we’ll be in Europe in a year or two (I need to get my UK passport first, because I don’t trust the Home Office)... You?

I have no interest in Animal Crossing, but that is such a nice looking system! I wish it had been available when the bf got me my Switch last year.

Ha. Hello! Isn’t it great being from one country that’s falling apart and living in another one that’s falling apart? My brain is no longer able to discuss anything bordering on politics.

It looks good, but I can’t find it for sale anywhere in the UK. :( I’ll keep looking, though.

Oh my god. What timing. I just started (re-)playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on the PS4 yesterday (I had played it on the PS3, but had to stop when I moved from the US to the UK). My bf had never heard of Studio Ghibli, and so I went on a bender trying to see where I can buy the Blu-Ray Collection.

I think they’re just using stunt doubles and not trying to hide it.

A little late to the party, but my bf just got me a Switch, so I’ve been playing Breath of the Wild with a few breaks so that he and I can play Mario Kart. I did about 30 minutes of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but I’m not sure I’m ready to dive into that with BotW still fairly new (I’ve only just beat my first Divine

I’m right there with you. My boyfriend is a teacher, so he used to work and nap when I was playing Persona 5, but that’s because the music in that game is generally good. For Dragon Quest XI, it was unbearable after a day or two.

I saw it in rural Connecticut at a drive-in movie theater while on acid. Soooo..... yeah, it was pretty damned scary at the time.

Thanks for that response. I do not follow any of this stuff and basically just buy old games (and a few new ones) off GOG, so I had no idea what Epic were doing that could raise some legitimate concerns for people.

Heaven’s Vault! Just completed my first playthrough last week, and while it was a bit janky at times, the nerd in me loved the deciphering language bit. The New Game+ is gonna be fun. Can’t wait to make some very different decisions.

“You can say I lied about it if you want to.”

It feels like I wrote this comment, since that is exactly how I played the game.

Absolutely. I was happy when I finished Act 2 because I knew that I was closely reaching my limit of “Oh what joyous fun this is!”. I knew that Act 3 was coming, but when it turned out to be Dragon Quest XI-2, I just turned it off and was like “F--- this. I’m done.”

You know what, I think that is the main problem that I was unable to articulate. At first, I thought that maybe I could actually finish Act 3, but it was just so disheartening that I had to grind for another 40+ hours to be able to even take on the “True Boss”.
