Yeah, this. I mean, how incredibly dumb did a movie about Facebook sound a decade ago? When it was announced, people were mocking the very idea.

Well, the critical consensus on Rotten Tomatoes is north of 90% at the present time.
I’ll take a wait and see attitude but invoking “Chicago 10" as a standard-bearer for this tale is a bit much. That film was a well-intentioned mess.
Privacy is one thing but a $2 meal! I’m not all that concerned about my presence in the world of corporate consumer tracking. There are certain things you can do to put up a wall between yourself and the forces of evil while still reaping the benefits. Ironically, as you read this article, your information is…
Yeah, ugly statue. Took way too long to get there. Somebody’s getting paid by the word.
I’m 100 percent with him on this. It’s not really about liking (or not liking) the Beatles per se. It’s about that guy (usually in a hipster bar) who can’t wait to tell you he doesn’t like the Beatles. (For some reason, they’ll often champion George Harrison’s solo work like he’s some sort of noble, esoteric…
I secretly enjoyed the stupidity of “The Babysitter” and what I’m reading here makes the sequel sound even more so. I won’t be able to judge if too-much-stupid is a bad thing until I take a shot at this one.
Exactly.

I love everything about this piece. Is it click-bait? Yep! Isn’t everything? But it’s creative and universal and made my day.
Fuck Trump and all that, but it’s really exhausting (and a tad condescending) to read another exhaustive take down of the orange one that basically steps on all the punchlines in the video and offers little insight.

Fair enough. No snark intended. (O.K. maybe a tad.) :)

Well, this is pretty much a textbook example of anecdotal evidence. (And then some.) If you assume the stuff about blue light is valid, it seems that adjusting the color temperature of your computer screen is a solution less dependent on Dolce & Gabbana®

Smigel is not exactly a hack. Everything he’s done is pretty amazing in my estimation. I’m not sure what the problem is. Snark sells I guess. That said, I would rather see more Triumph but it might be hard to pull off badgering people on the street given the current situation.
I think that the playing field is pretty level these days. The advantage of an Apple/Adobe combo over a Windows rig is the Apple stuff is pretty standardized and uniform. A Windows PC can have hardware from all kinds of sources that can cause problems that are hard to pin down.
Not everything has to be “problemitized.” Can we have a moment of triviality instead of making every piece of click-bait a “teaching moment”?
The whole “opening weekend” box office horse race is what got us to where we are now movie-wise. And that’s not a good thing. That toothpaste ain’t getting put back in the tube but movies were much more interesting when they were rolled out slowly and played for months in theaters.
I don’t get it. Like, why would anyone call him daddy? Where’s the joke?
Good call. Yeah, that’s the Dakota. Bruce is walking into Central Park.
