No Gilbert Gottfried? Hard pass.
No Gilbert Gottfried? Hard pass.
From what I’ve heard, the Disney Star Wars thing is really designed for the “up sell” once you’re in the thick of it. It’s not like the Haunted Mansion doesn’t have a gift shop...but you don’t feel like your missing out if you don’t pull out your wallet at the end.
I guess the last Partridge thing was unheralded enough that I never heard of it. And I’m a big fan. The whole thing is on the YouTube if anyone is interested.
Spacey is obviously kind of a dick even if he has somehow avoided the criminal stuff. But the ick factor kind of kills his chances. Nobody wants to think about that when he pops up on screen...and no one is going to risk their money investing in a film with that nasty baggage.
An old Italian guy getting all kissy face is a more of an anachronism than a criminal act. But spinning it as trying to “establish the spirit of the scene” makes it a lot weirder.
Richard Gere is not investigating his estranged son’s death. He is an actor playing a guy who is investigating his estranged son’s death.
Personally, I *like* him but I rarely find him laugh-out-loud funny. I thought he would be perfect for a talk show. Until I saw this.
At least vaudeville is still packing ‘em in!
Adobe (and several other corporations) are creating data models of fully cleared and compensated art for A.I. image generation. I doubt it will be very lucrative for those involved but they will be compensated. Stock footage used to be extraordinarily expensive and hard to market or license. Now the price has gone…
A commercial film is a business trying to do as much as possible with the budget they have. It’s not a program designed to give money to artists. They are not going to build a set to keep set decorators and painters employed if they can do it digitally.
It’s fishy to read an entire article that never mentions BEN Franklin. Nobody calls him “Franklin” except (I suspect) the branding consultants that drove this article.
Downey sounds like every writer’s nightmare: “I’m not fucking saying these lines...”
Is there such a thing as a heartfelt apology from a corporation? That’s why we have lawsuits.
Agreed. The seeds have been planted rather obviously and Seinfeld made some obtuse reference onstage recently.
I think the degree to which it actually happens is dwarfed by the amount of legal battles without merit.
There were three protestors. I think the Academy Awards can handle that.
Yeah. Well. No. Just, no.
Snap it pal!
I never heard of her...but I think I’m in love.
You would be surprised how many films are owner by industrial conglomerates that have nothing to do with Hollywood and little interest in exploiting their properties.
