I’ve still not been able to finish it. I love Phil to death but man that thing breaks my bones

I’m glad I’m gray on this site so I can point out that you’re full of shit, sour shit which has clearly filled you right to your fingertips, where it is spilling out onto your keys. Her longstanding working relationship with CK is clear, and clearly laid out in the article. The statement was released via their mutual

Do you have the vinyl? Apparently the label was supposed to put it on Bandcamp but it doesn’t seem to have happened.

Honestly, all of McDonnell’s kids books are great. South is one of my all-time favorites to “read” (there are no actual words) with my kids.

I remember that, because I’d had no idea it had been turned into an animated movie. 1993 was the year after I graduated high school, so I wasn’t exactly the target market for it. I was glad to hear they’d made one of the characters a girl, because the “girls are icky!” aspect of so much of Bradbury’s young

I dont understand why Cartoon Network doesnt show this annualy during October (if they do, I havent noticed)

What’s heartening to me is that it seems to be taking root as a classic in the sense of “beloved annual tradition,” like It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown has become. Rightfully so.

We wrote that one up last year! (Well, the TV special):

Over The Garden Wall has it all. It’s funny and stylish and unique and kinda scary and touching and it has songs that are catchy but not at all irritating.

It probably doesn’t count as pop culture, but Ray Bradbury’s The Halloween Tree is spooky, melancholy, and educational (it’s how I learned about Dia de Muertos!) all at once. It also has one of the best character names in all children’s fiction, Carapace Clavicle Moundshroud.

Mutts is a WILDLY underrated comic strip. McDonnell manages to pack a large amount of pathos, emotion, and glee into a few scraps of linework. I didn’t know he’d made a Halloween book; will have to check that out.

I really cannot recommend Over the Garden Wall enough. Whether you’re watching with kids or not, it’s some of the best TV of this decade. And it’s only 10 episodes so you really have no excuse.

“The Monster at The End of This Book”, or, as I like to call it, “Babys Introduction to Post-Modernism” is one of the all-time greatest books ever.

Yeah aside from that though The Invitation was one of the best done horror thrillers I’ve seen in years. Kusama so concisely made the exact film she was trying to make. I can’t wait to see more movies from her.

This is all a joke though, right?

Hopefully with the last piece of shit Nazi.

Agreed. The adoration this season has received is baffling to me.

I think a lot of the crazy fans who expected some massive payoff finale missed how fun the last episode was.

Hot take: This season was fine, but by no means a “quantum leap” above the first two.
