I don’t think I’ve ever been prouder of Philly than I am after reading this. In a country that gets so much wrong when it comes to race... I like to think that Philadelphia gets less of it wrong than most.

I have never read (then re-read) anything which captures why I deeply love this city and it’s people. I think this line sums it up nicely: “We are a place of black OPTIONS”

This is a beautiful description of our city. I love this place, warts and all.
