Corn seeds haven't been saved for replanting since the 1920s. It has nothing to do with GMO conspiracy theories. All my urban relatives as kids in the 1970s wanted my seed corn hats we got from seed salesmen. We bought seeds for decades long before GMOs came along. The only seed we saved were soybeans.
