I love Michael Shannon. Such a delightful weirdo.

“Waaaaaaaaaay ahead of you”
I thought this was going to be about cocaine.
Something set in the Old West is about the only kind of movie his accent would make sense. Nation of immigrants and all. Or. You know. We used to be.
I mention “That’s probably the wrong tree,” and my wife says I’m being an asshole and just ruined a touching moment. The character says the same exact thing and it’s a little bit of levity. Do I get an apology? I do not.
If this series gets cancelled, you can bet the new head of programming, Rollo Tomasi, is to blame.
Yeah, this was bullshit. At least include, you know, videos of the actual previews. DUH.
Zero reason for this to be a video, there wasn’t even an ad attached to it! (which I assume is the main reason ordinary content is made into video content).
You might get shit for this comment but I have to agree. The best video game narratives always left me saying “Wow, that was about as solid as a B-level movie or an above-average season finale of television.”
But think how lame comedy has gotten since it became less socially acceptable to make fun of minorities, women, the disabled and the marginalized.
I have always viewed political correctness as a modern extension of the Golden Rule. But I guess “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is a pretty rotten message to pass on to the next generation. A world where everyone contemplates how their words and actions affect others would be a pretty terrible…
We should help them along their inevitable path to extinction by convincing the Chinese that their powdered remains are a potent aphrodisiac.
it can be two oh who even cares anymore
That’s false. To quote Snopes (https://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/mrrogers.asp):
Could be worse. We could’ve found that out about Fred Rogers.
The casting in royal historical dramas, like the royals themselves, is notoriously incestuous.
My excitement for this is wholly contingent on the return of the original vocal cast.
Awh, you got me all nostalgic for Siskel & Ebert’s year-end worst film shows ...which I suppose was a full 18 years ago now. (Nobody gives poor Richard Roeper any respect despite soldier in with the show for 9 years.)
That’s kinda the funny thing about the premise being the original Michael Myers and not supernatural - Myers was born in 1957. So the guy is supposed to be 61 when this movie comes out. Not to mention the multiple gunshots and a fall from a 2nd story window he took at the end of the 1st movie. He’s going to need one…
If they really are ditching everything after the first movie - specifically, the brother/sister twist - that’s by far the #1 thing that’s making me curious about this movie.
