They can't. Dahl hated Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory so much that he refused to option the sequel for a movie, and his estate has maintained his wishes.

It's a little amusing that a person who clearly considers himself superior for disliking Adam Sandler and Rob Zombie movies still thinks it's okay to call a woman "skanky".

Daniel Craig was supposed to play the lead, but he dropped out at the last minute.

Don't worry… he'll outlive us all.

Yeah, I'm betting Hopkins won't survive the season.

"After all, the costs of operating a single robot would have to include the cost of supporting that robot. If "support robots" were used instead of human support, then the support robots would also have to be supported… and the support robots for the support robots would have to be supported, etc…"

It's not that they didn't WANT an Asian director (in spite of reports saying just that)… they just hired the white, er… RIGHT man for the job.

Guess this puts the "William is MIB in the past" theory to bed. Unless something REALLY weird is going on.

So many people are acting like Terry Gilliam is the only one who should be allowed to film Don Quixote and I'm like… Orson Welles, anyone? His possibly lost Don Quixote movie could be the film world's Ark of the Covenant (The Magnificent Ambersons is the Holy Grail)

I maintain that if Terry Gilliam REALLY wanted to make Don Quixote, he'd have done it by now. He was able to make "Tideland", for God's sake.

I'm not sure it's the best idea for Kirkman to prepare for war when there's a domestic conflict brewing. I can see the show becoming about a new civil war or a new foreign war, but not both. Given the option, I think the former would be much more interesting for the show.

I think the fact that the movie is being made by the people behind "The L Word" and "Transparent" should assuage those fears a bit.

He made you watch that movie? The movie directly bullied you? Please explain, and be specific.

"He's a director! He suould be immune to emotional abuse!"

Have you ever noticed that white people only seen to bring up Asians when it allows them to mock or devalue black inclusion?

Mocking a director for a titling decision that was not his?

Can we just fucking retire the "Lee Daniels' [title]" joke? It's tired and unfunny at best and unfair bullying at worst.

Let's not forget that Adult Swim is also a willing platform for the alt-right:

Discrimination is worse.

I think if the voice was truly an issue it'd be reflected in th critical reception.
