It's always astounding when I see people bitching about Wii VC games not playable on the WiiU, because they absolutely are. Every single one of them. You just don't get to use the gamepad, miiverse, or save states with them. You're paying the extra money to upgrade to those extra features, and if you don't feel

I heard people love it when you call them brown people. Fucking scum right back at you.

I remember when I used to go to the library as a child (my parents would take me). They had a max carryout of 10 books I believe with your card and I'd walk out with 10 video game magazines everytime (EGM/GamePro?). Those were the days. Good times.

This guy is the Edward Snowden of things that don't matter.

Last I checked it said title of the game not the name of a character. the title of the game is The Legend of Zelda not just Zelda

Like, in Grand Theft Auto?

Lol, gotta love people STILL hating on Nintendo even though they changed their mind, or cleared up the misunderstanding, or whatever the hell happened like a few hours afterwards.

I know it's going to be hard road and one that will throw away years of incremental modification, but in the next generation they really REALLY need to ditch the Yukes Smackdown engine and animations and build a new wrestling game from the ground up.

Urgh it feels so weird not seeing those blocks dissapear in the tetris picture, feel like ive held in a sneeze.

I give a waffle maker, fancy maple syrup, and a fancy pancake mix that is ground at a water powered mill in Arkansas. If they aren't happy with it they can suck it.

Now playing

WOW—after all that's happened in these past weeks and you just HAPPEN to forget to include this. Progress my ass.

Deadspin covers sports all day, all sports, and then reports on the scandals if they happen. Even if they don't report soccer scores, they still acknowledge the sport exists.

"Bro, you think THAT'S a story? I got a story that's way better, except it is about me and doesn't involve anyone famous."

This site does almost no investigative journalism and reporting in regards to the FGC community. Many positive things have happened yet the only thing "positive" you can come up with is an article asking the community to help you say something positive? Do you think that makes you look better in the community's eyes

Seriously, the fact that people think the outcome of who beat who at UvMC3 [sic] is more important than the arrest of a pro gamer on domestic violence charges baffles me.

The thing is Kotaku never seems to have trouble finding news when it comes to stuff that negatively affects the FGC. All that shit about Aris, which was definitely warranted, and now with Noel Brown. He's not even really a top player as the article makes it out. Furthermore, the article title places emphasis on Noel,

your logic is flawed, what does it matter if it's a competitive gamer? Casual gamer? or hardcore gamer? All kotaku ever does is stir up controversy in every competitive community for hits on their site like a shameless TMZ tabloid. If anything positive happens in any community like the most recent event of the tekken

Well possibly because this news has nothing to do with 'gaming' or 'gaming culture' per say. It has to do with the private life of a guy who is in the gaming culture, but how is it relevant to any of us? Why should this story be covered as part of the 'gaming culture' when it 1. is negative 2. really has nothing to do

I just wish you guys just did more to cover major tournaments and events. I mean, it doesn't have to be as comprehensive as what we do on Shoryuken (where we try to list the results of the top 8 matches) but even just an article saying that this Road to EVO major or that MLG even is happening on said weekend.
