RIP. I still consider Chinatown my all-time favorite movie, and I was always kind of proud of how influential my hometown of Eugene, OR was to his career.

With Fantastic Four it feels like they just want to scratch the itch of doing another period piece like The First Avenger, and then they can just send the main cast through a wormhole into the sacred timeline going forwards.
I made a joke that there should be a Bob’s Burgers episode where Jimmy Pesto thinks Bob is grinding up kids in his basement for burgers and then I remembered that’s almost literally the pilot.
