One thing with this article. There’s really no such thing as totaled with a 4Runner. I’ve seen guys roll them over and just keep driving them after hacking off the roof with a sawzall.

How, exactly, does one compress a spring, if not with a spring compressor?

Who in their right mind would lift such a hideous thing? They could just buy a beater XJ put 1/10th the amount into the lift and have a 100% more capable rock crawler than this crime against nature.

MarchUntoTorment, this is an older V6 Mustang we are talking about. Driving technique is absolutely irrelevant, since the main goal of driving an old V6 Mustang is to show the world that the driver is driving a Mustang.

That’s a solid look at the UI, which really must be a focal point in any sort of autonomous driving situation. While I will agree that multiple confirmation prompts can be annoying, in these early days of this technology, they’re needed.

You say there’s a constant dwindling of ground clearance in the name of aerodynamics, but then I look at a modern pickup, and how they tower above even 20 year old full-size pickups...

Not to mention the new one is a great deal more powerful and heavier.
