Weight distribution really isn't that important when the axles are spaced like they are on a truck. It matters a lot on a trailer because side-to-side momentum way on the back of trailer far away from the axles matters. That's what causes trailer-sway. If trailers had axles spaced like trucks it wouldn't matter…
