Poor comparison. Spark plugs are regular mantainence. Hard drives are meant to last the life of the machine.

Then buy the old Pro that has been refreshed and go to town.......

My thoughts exactly. If people want to upgrade it then they can buy the old and newly refreshed Pro's....

Because the vast majority of people don't care about replacing their SSD or RAM. Most people don't even know what an SSD is....

This is what I want to know as well.

Actually it's only 200 more. Which isn't horribly worse than Newegg... Kind of. Anyways they had to sacrifice the ability to tinker in the name of thinness. Besides, 95% of people who buy these machines don't ever do the things that we do...

16 GB upgrade is only $300, which is what you would pay on newegg, and that amount of RAM would last the life of the machine.

That's exactly what you do with this... The button is supposed to be on the wheel so you don't have to look down.

I have a buddy who picked up an '11 Edge sport and the voice recognition in it sucked...

I don't own an alarm clock. To each his own... I was just explaining how this feature will be very useful to a lot of people. I also imagine this is easier to activate than putting your phone inside of a sock every night....

Most people use their iPhones for an alarm clock, therefor it has to be on loud with the volume up. I will love that new feature.

Can you edit HD video and edit 25+MP photos in photoshop away from home using your tablet?

I have a 5 year old MBP that I've put a fast SSD in and I have at least 2 years of life left in it. You could buy that computer and keep it forever.

Only dumb people compare massive desktop rigs to laptops.

I have a 2007 MBP that I just put a SSD and replaced the DVD drive with a 1 TB hdd, and I'm very happy with it. It gets humbled by some HD video editing and some photoshop but otherwise it is very fast and runs great. Very content with it...

You're sick of going fast?? :P

:)

Last one is not true unless you're on a sport bike.

My twin brother has a Duc Monster '05 w/ 6000 miles and that thing has had more problems then I can count, while I'm on my '95 Honda CB750 w/37k miles that I drive every day with absolutely no problem. Only time I have been stranded is when a 30 dollar clutch cable snapped...

Excellent answer. When I get married and start a family will probably be when I give up riding.
