I think the crisis is real. But the car loans are just a small symptom.

Actually it’s way worse. It’s pretty common for a shipping company to cease to exist while in transit and that leaves the crew stranded outside the port. They legally cannot come into port, disembark, or unload cargo, and even when THAT’S worked out, they’re in a foreign port with no money (since the shipping company…
Bet you it isn’t. Those ships are booked so far in advance they probably couldn’t deviate from their scheduled ports for months, even if they’re stranded for months waiting to fulfil that schedule. For a start, who pays for the diversion if the contract is to load/unload at a certain location?
The people that have anime girl mousepads with “wrist rests” are probably interested.
This is the world we live in now. Complete disconnect from reality. It’s a shame that everyone lives through a screen instead of in our actual world. Just fucking crazy.
I walk daily in my area.
Justice is imperfect, and anything you wish on guilty people will - maybe not often, maybe often - happen to innocent people. “Only when you’re sure” is not a qualifier that magically makes justice perfect, so the punishment - even for horrific crimes - in civilized countries attempts to reconcile this reality with…
Karma isn't real. Bad people lead horrible lives and prosper. Good people suffer in silence. Life just goes on. There is no magical force of justice.
You can already buy a very luxurious EV box on wheels that you do not have to drive yourself, the latest iteration of these starts at £170,000 and is even more luxe inside,
i know its a design study but does the upholstery not look shite to anyone else?
Anyone else find the lack of a steering wheel in that one pic fucking terrifying?
Look at Daddy Vanagon eying all the Harletwinks lined up like it’s last call at the club.
Ah yes. They’ll “back-burner” it for awhile and then it will reemerge in several years as something completely different looking that’s actually practical. This will be a nice, convenient way to get rid of the hideous, horrible cybertruck concept.
I guess they need a little more time to figure out that bulletproof glass thing?
Cybertruck. so much polygonal goodness its using the FX chip. Which as we know is old as hell much like this design.
I feel like Elon has been playing a long game con this whole time with the cyber truck to force the hand of the legacy makers to accelerate their plans to build electric trucks.
So how many deposits is Tesla sitting on with no plan on delivering the product? Basically another 0% loan Tesla took from the public to keep operations running.
Unless they reboot the Mad Max franchise I don’t see any possible reason for this vehicle to exist, and then only for props.
Seeing it in someone’s hands, it makes slightly more sense. I like how thin it is. But it’s far too wide to ever come across as a “phone.” It can be wider than the Galaxy Fold, which I think is too narrow folded in half and adds to the feeling of chunkiness, but something in between would be better.
