I met her a bunch of years ago when she spoke to our PCA region (local chapter). Very interesting talk, and she’s a neat person. She was kind enough to let me pay her for a photocopy of her book, out of print by then, really well written and I learned a bunch from it that helped me with timing duties a little later on

While many countries may in theory issue a visa on arrival, you are at the mercy of border control people who may not know how to issue such a visa. Especially bad idea away from the main airport, for example land crossings. For travel in Africa, definitely get that visa before traveling. It’ll be less than you end up

Worth pointing out, perhaps, that given the yellow and red wristbands on the drive and passenger (resp.), the driver was a novice student, passenger his instructor. Yellow almost always has a range of driving skills in its students, bless ‘em.

Pack a sandwich at home or buy it at your favorite deli. Bring a refillable water bottle and fill it at a fountain inside the terminal -- why the f would anyone pay money for water in the first place. How hard can that be?

Given that the gasoline-burning Cayenne S has a stated 7,700 lb. towing ability, the need for a diesel to tow seems unclear.

Correction: while it did share suspension bits with the 944 Turbo, the 16-valve 944S did not get the Turbo’s wonderful Brembo four-pot brakes. It got the same floating caliper brakes as the base 944. It also got a stronger transmission, similar internals to the 944 Turbo but shorter ratios.
