That's just a bad bill. I don't think Republicans of any level, including the President, actually like it. They just wanted to get something done for show.

I think the Jon Ossoff/Karen Handel runoff is going to tell us a lot. I think Karen will win with around 53%, but I think if Osoff gets 45% or higher it will signal a shift in thinking and maybe I'm wrong, let alone if he wins.

Whether fair or not, the majority of America is more conservative-leaning when you get past a lot of the theatrics. I think a lot of voters wrote off Trump's extracurricular activities because so far they haven't interfered with his job.

Most popular figure? He lost to Hillary Clinton, either the, or the 2nd most, unpopular figure in America.

If Donald Trump is so terrible why did he win the 2016 Election?

It certainly looked like Glenn Beck was possessed by Killer BOB at times.

"You are the one accusing Stephen Colbert of doing what your chosen President has been doing on a daily basis for months now."

Whatever he inherited, he's worth more than that now. Forbes has him worth 4 billion. Even if he inherited 1 billion from his father (he got nowhere near that, its between 20-100 million) if it was so easy to quadruple your money everyone would do it.

I don't think anyone can achieve wealth, sustain wealth and become President of the United States by having a low intelligence level.

"You are a delusional man, with absolutely nothing of value to add to the conversation. "

Because people on this website have never complained about anything beforeā€¦.

There's some truth in that. I didn't even come on here to vigorously defend Trump because there are plenty of things that both sides of the aisle should rightfully criticize him on.

There's a difference between a few jokes about Bill Clinton's sexcapades, and dedicating 7-10 minutes every night to attacking the President's hair, weight, children and the appearance of his colleagues.

There's a difference between doing it organically and pulling out whatever cheap stunts you can. He could just book Lady Gaga and Harry Styles on his show every night to get his ratings up, but I think he'd prefer to do it in a way that is credible.

What?

Ratings. That's the only reason I can think of.

In all fairness, Stephen is actually excited about this. This isn't an act. This is what all of these celebrities that criticize Trump are hoping for, a reaction from him, because today's celebs only care about how often they are mentioned.

People forget (rightfully so because of the fact that they give up on the TV screen allusions fairly early on) that this was supposed to be a parody of soap operas. A genre where people leave town and fall off cliffs, but somehow always come back.

Question: How many people not on the cast list do we expect to show up?

You're right, there'd be no backlash if someone made a show attempting to teach black people about microaggressions.
