It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Littlefinger’s (or one of the Captains of the Veil) who suggested it, rather than Sansa herself. Although I’d be OK with the show giving Sansa the credit.

I’ve been reading a lot of comments wondering why Sansa didn’t tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale coming (assuming she knew for a fact they were). I think there were several potential problems with telling Jon. For one thing Jon hates Littlefinger, and probably would tell her to send the army away again. Even if

Moon tea. Fuck that little embryonic shit.

then the three of them singlehandedly—well, triple-dragonedly—take out the entire fleet by themselves.

HBO Now? More like HBO Tomorrow

Loved the “Your a greedy Bitch” line, did not see the spear thru the head coming.

Honestly I actually expect there to be more controversy over elderly nudity. Maybe I’m just jaded by all the stupid bro backlashes against things, but this seems like a chance for a bunch of idiots on twitter to make ugly comments.

So, Mrs. Lambic and I are watching the Dorne scene and it’s a little slow, what with the random banalities between Ellaria and Doran. So I start to say something about how in the books, Doran is super gouty to the point of not really being able to walk and having swollen, reddened joints.

You made me wait until the end to see boobs, then that... Well played game of thrones... Well played.

Except that we’ve seen her without the choker before.

Did what it needed to do. We know where everyone is and what they're doing, we got some urgency going, and there was a moment for everyone to talk about tomorrow. (Although if you really have problems seeing an elderly woman naked, you're going to have a hard time later in life.)

The Dorne stuff always kind of felt like padding in the books, but that’s probably because it’s been YEARS and there’s been no pay-off. Before the prince got killed, I thought “so is this actually going to go somewhere?” and now I’m like “well, I hope they side with Khaleesi when she comes back to Westeros.” Still

But the spear through the face was all good?

I think it tells us something important, though. Melisandre has been doing what she does for a very, very, very long time. So for her to face a crisis of faith now, after all that time presumably having it continue unshaken, is that much more significant.

It's TV-MA. You knew the risks

Man, makeup really does Melisandre good, she cleans up well.
