A lot of cars (Civic, certain Fords, newer Volvos, anything Mazda) are doing that these days. I like it.

That’s not a bad thing given that Kia has some of the best looking designs in their class. I would take an Optima over just about any current midsized based on looks alone. Mazda6 comes in a VERY close second.

Doesn’t matter the age. My mother had never done much till she retired and just shy of 60 she picked up wood working - she now makes high end custom cabinetry with high end finishes all by herself.

What I would like is a time machine to go back to 1994, when my car was built, and buy it brand new. It’s a great, great car.
