I think the concept would have aged better.

That would be a render. Nobody made that blue car. Miatas don’t get upper grilles.

Aw, I remember Pontiac conceptz concepts.

Afterthought infotainment is best infotainment.

I’ll be interested to see whether Scion or Mazda offers the car with more sensible equipment packages.

That’s because it’s actually Mazda2.

That is an actual Mazda2 Sedan. Does Toyota make their own cars any more?

I’m guessing you’re one of them fat guys and don’t know the freedom that comes from Fitting Most Places. Either that, or your car is too chubby to comfortably make a right turn on red at most intersections. Narrow cars kick ass in the city, so does not having to crowd any yellow lines while canyon carving, or fitting

Not all Miatas.

Nice to see Mazda continuing with their perplexing equipment packages: Performance goodies—yay! Infotainment touchscreen—in a Miata? WTF?

That’s my new hair-do right there.

A Ghibli? No thanks.

Picture a fat guy and a skinny guy, and they’re both trying to get through a crowded airport. The fat guy is going to trade sweat with more travelers than the skinny guy. I was never talking about percentages.

If crash safety is a concern, then "no overlap" scores are infinitely better than the best "small overlap" scores.

Whatever the situation they test for, the Mirage might only loose a mirror if it were driven through the Range Rover's test.

Sorry, just like the NA, NB, and NC, 99% of swaps will be the small block Chevy.

I've always assumed that Range Rovers were driven by their owners rather than the owner's chauffeur/handler. Who the hell sets up this accessory before dressage?

For that matter, I hope narrower cars get more slack on their crash test ratings. Where an 81 inch wide Range Rover might suffer a "small overlap crash," a 65 inch wide Mirage might escape all harm completely.

I can't wait to see how it fares in the IIHS small overlap crash test.

Honestly, I've driven the BRZ, and I drive an older Miata that is both heavier and less powerful than the ND, and the Miata is more fun. The difference is that the Miata makes its power in a range that the car actually sees in normal driving conditions, so you don't have to wind it out to the stratosphere to get to it.
