My father has no skills past minor repairs on a garden tractor, adding line to a weed wacker, and changing his own oil (which I have seen him do twice in my lifetime). My kids, be the next one a girl or not, will know how to swap motors. I taught myself how to work on cars and finished up my mechanical career working

I would have stayed at the bar...

This is number two. Our son just turned 1 year old this past Easter. All of this is not too bad. Considering we both work for USPS, our income is stable and should cut it. Its just that I won't be able to do that Jeep TJ/YJ/CJ 4BT swap I have been dreamin about since I got out of the army. All in all, seeing as we are

@Fodder650:

This is starting to make me really think that I could do better than these guys are doing. I mean seriously, what the fuck was up with those "So you think you can do my job" youtube spots?

Yes, but can you polish the body with that headlight restorer you find on late night infomercials?

Seriously, this is not a jab at windows but more of a general point being made.

As an ex-army 63A (Abrams Tank Systems Maintainer), I have to agree. But even with the all three of the tanks maxed out 507 gallons fuel, at 3MPG you will still have to stop two or three times and filling up 500 gallons takes cash and time...lots of time.

Gotta be a 3500 Ram w/ Cummins diesel and an auxilery gas tank in the bed. I would drive straight through without gas pit stops.

Yup. I can take some cars modded. I even admire rat rods with a lustful passion akin to those photos of cute but tattooed up "bad girl" chicks you see floating around the interwebs...but this is just horrible. There are some things you can do to a VW Thing...this is not one of them.

I did it. Loved it. Couldnt be bothered to post it with my son running around like a 1 year old does. lol

Damn...I hope you get that to work because that will be perfect.

If this were just a tangle of pipes on any regular exhaust, I would agree with you. This however, is a massive forced induction setup including a Whipple supercharger and a Garrett 45 turbo. Since its not a free flowing setup, the bends and circumferences of the pipes do not matter as much as the pipes ability to

I like this better.

I miss the rear wheel drive Malibu.

I blame a forklift driver with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove.

Yeah...I get that side too. And on that, both sides are wrong. The guy resorting to violence was a little more in the wrong in my personal opinion but that is up to debate. But like I said, I wouldn't resort to fighting over a parking spot.

I gotta say, aside from the fact that I wouldn't resort to fighting over a parking spot, I usually carry a pistol on me. If a man attempts to reach in my car in a violent manner, there is a good chance that there will be a .45 shaped hole somewhere on his person.
